The Wonderful Communications Christmas toy party in aid of the Brompton Fountain was a great success on a variety of different levels.
The Icetank Studio was the venue for our annual Christmas toy party and all the guests loved this fabulous space. A hidden gem in the heart of Covent Garden, situated on a quiet street off Shaftesbury Avenue. With fantastic transport links and a unique aesthetic was the ideal choice for our exclusive toy party.
The venue is awash in natural light with high-end equipment and contemporary designer furnishings and fixtures. Our caterering team loved the purpose built luxury kitchen with a gigantic skylight and modern appliances throughout. The studio boasts high ceilings throughout the ground floor and large wall-to-floor glass windows for ample natural lighting, this uber cool space really set the tone for an impressive evening.
A host of different industry sectors came together on the night with each guest bringing along a brand new boxed toy which was donated to the children and families supported by the Brompton Fountain.
Trudy Nickels – Director at the Brompton Fountain informed and educated our guests on the night about the charity, it’s focus, goals, aims and how it continues to help support children and their families under the care at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
We also had a fantastic complimentary prize raffle which was open to every guest on the evening and the prizes certainly caused a lot of excitement amongst our guests. The prizes consisted of the following:
Deborah Steed – Executive Assistant at the Brompton Fountain helped pick out the lucky winners.
New Quebec catering created a gorgeous Christmas menu which went down well with guests. Guest were treated to roast turkey breast on mini yorkshire pudding with cranberry, emmental turnovers, mini salmon and spinach strudel. We then had Blue cheese blinis with berry salsa, roast beef, red onion and horseradish creme fraiche crostini and marinated prawns in pastry cup with wasabi mayo. Desserts were a selection of cocktail sweets, devine mince pies and a variety of chocolates and sweet treats.
Overall this was yet another super turnout for our annual Christmas toy party in aid of the Brompton Fountain.
