About This Project

Wonderful Communications arranged to see Ain’t Too Proud at the Prince Edward Theatre and it was a great spectacle that hit the right note from start to finish.

The life and times of the Temptations is a fable about the incredible journey of this plucky R&B quintet from their humble beginnings in Detroit to becoming a global phenomenon and achieving Rock & Roll and Hall of Fame status.

This pulsating musical is narrated through the soulful voice of founding member Otis Williams (played by the talented Sifiso Mazibuko) who takes you on a musical experience filled with friendships, relationships, love, family, struggles, social injustice, tragedy, trials, tribulations, and triumphs.

All the leading cast members perform the Temptation’s signature dance moves perfectly and execute their unmistakable harmonies with poise and precision.

There are a number of The Temptation’s biggest hits to enjoy throughout the show such as Papa Was A Rollin Stone, My Girl, Get Ready, Shout, Just My Imagination, and the melodic What Becomes of the Broken Hearted.

The Temptations rose to the top of the charts with a staggering 42 Top-Ten Hits, 14 Number Ones and has had over 27 members join the group.
